Why BI24

In todays economic climate everyone is looking for ways to make the business data analysis experience easier to gain a competitive edge.

Organisations making use of Business Intelligence (BI) are more likely to gain a greater visibility into business drivers and become more agile in response to changing market conditions. As much as 57% of businesses report pressure to improve the speed of access to business data and an equal percentage are being pressurised to increase overall data insight.

Installing & Managing BI solutions has historically involved long installation schedules with large costs. Once implemented IT involvement is usually required  to produce reports and help in the building of databases and the management of general administration. The reports generated should enable you to make predictive conclusions about likely future customer activity which in turn should give marketing departments the visibility they need to tailor promotions and outreach more effectively. There is little doubt that many organizations are coming across the limitations of traditional BI solutions in terms of deployment cost, ease-of-use, and cost of ownership. Moreover, because very few organizations have rolled out their BI investments to an enterprise-wide audience, the return on investment has not developed to a level it should.

What makes us different from all legacy BI Solutions?

BI24 is classed as a “next-generation” BI tool, and was created by combining two distinct technologies, taking the best that each has to offer and removing the limitations that exist within them. The Solution creates an environment through a user-friendly graphical interface that provides the power, flexibility, agility and ease of use to mine data, together with the ability to analyze that data in any form and in any way the user might wish. This is another important aspect of the BI24 technology. Unlike many traditional BI tools there is no requirement to predefine data cubes or create any form of pre-query structure for the data.

The BI24 interface is delivered via a Google type search bar functionality:

Simple Querying

Most people are familiar with search engines and use them to explore vast amounts of information available on the internet. Using BI24, users are able to use the same ‘natural language’ queries to interrogate all of the information in their organisation.

Rather than scrolling through pages of results, BI24 provides users with the option of rapidly filtering results, using drop–lists and a ‘click and select’ approach on values returned to go from millions of records to the results of interest within a matter of seconds.

To use the product requires no technical querying or report writing skills; BI24 enables users to answer business queries rapidly with the minimum amount of fuss, in a completely secure environment.

Linking Data

BI24 allows the user to effectively query large quantities of data across the enterprise, commonly in unconnected and disparate data sources. BI24 seamlessly links data sources together to allow reporting and analysis of data across previously disconnected databases and data respositories. Data can be automatically linked together using common identifiers or by physically merging data together into a composite search index.

Powerful Venn diagrams can be used to show links with data, and then these links can be dragged to another pane to show results

Visualise Your Data

There are many powerful visualisation tools available within BI24. For example, users can build insightful queries using VENN diagrams quickly and easily, seeing the relationships between data that would normally be reserved for technical staff. They can then ‘drill through’ to view the underlying data.

Dynamic views can be created to be utilised within VENN diagrams. This provides a whole new dimension to VENN querying; for example, instead of dealing at a transactional level you can group and roll–up the data to provide an alternative view.

With drill through, the relevant data can then be printed, exported into a separate application such as an email or SMS gateway to produce an instant, targeted mailing list. VENN diagrams can be saved, and published within user groups for rapid information collaboration across the organisation without duplication of effort.
